Ms. Danyele Sims

Ms. Danyele Sims was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and moved to Arizona in 2015. She began her college career at the age of 16 after completing 3 years of high school. Ms. Sims graduated from The University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She has worked in the field of education for 12 years, 4 years in educational support and this school year of 2023-2024 will be her 8th year as a classroom teacher. Ms. Sims is currently continuing her education at Grand Canyon University, working on a Masters Degree in Education in School Counseling. In her free time, She enjoys reading, art, trying new restaurants and food, cuddling with her dog (Fenix-Bean), and spending time with family. Ms. Danyele Sims has taught 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade and is familiar with the Wonders ELA Curriculum that we utilize in K-6. Ms. Sims uses Love and Logic (our school wide approach to discipline) and has excelled at building positive relationships with both students and faculty. We are fortunate to have found such an excellent candidate at this juncture to join our stellar General Studies team as our Third and Fourth Grade General Studies Teacher.
