Morah Shavy Fekete

Morah Shavy brings a wealth of international experience to our school, having taught students in Israel for 3 years, including those with special needs. She has also served as a Judaic teacher in a kindergarten in Ukraine for 2 years. Morah Shavy took a three year coure of study focused on child education and emotional development. Morah shavy has honed her ability to understand and support children's diverse needs, and specializes in diverse "havoros" (pronunciations) of Hebrew. Additionally she has completed a full semester specifically on teaching reading skills for young learners. Morah Shavy is enthusiastic about working with students of all ages and is committed to supporting their reading development as a Kriah Specialist, in alignment with our CKC program.

Shavy Fekete is married with 3 beautiful children. She loves reading books to kids, enjoys writing in Yiddish, and delights in rewarding students whenever they achieve a goal.
