Mrs. Hannah Brandon

1,2,3 eyes on me! (1,2,3 eyes on you!)
Hannah Brandon is a teacher at Phoenix Hebrew Academy. She has taught students for almost 5 years. Mrs. Brandon’s classes are project forward as she, herself, is very artistic. She loves to paint and do DIY projects for herself and her classroom.
Mrs. Brandon has always had a heart for helping people, especially children, as she grew up with a special needs brother that needed her help growing up. Mrs. Brandon volunteered for “The Special Olympics” starting at the age of 10. She would block all the other players so her brother could score a goal or make a basket. She has always been very protective of her older “little” brother and would do anything for him. Mrs. Brandon is also adopted. For her Girl Scout Gold Award project, she made a video for potential adoptive parents. She shared the struggles and joys of being adopted and had her own birth mother on the video explaining the difficulties but also the advantages of having an open adoption. She has advocated for the special needs population and the adopted population since she was a child.
Mrs. Brandon has always loved children, as she’s still a child at heart. She fought wanting to be a teacher since her dad was a teacher (because we don’t want to do what our parents do), but she fell in love with it the moment she started. Seeing the minds of children work is her favorite part of being a teacher. Her class teaches her something new every day!
