Mr. Robert Collins

Middle School Social Studies

Mr. Collins earned a BA degree in Geography from both Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University in 1995. He also earned a Teaching Certification/ Post Baccalaureate from Rio Solado College in 2003. Robert has Arizona teaching certifications in Social Studies, General Science, Geography, and Physical Education. He has 13 years of experience in teaching middle school and high school students in social studies, science, and physical education.


Most recently, he taught at the Pueblo Middle School in the Isaac School District from 2019-2021. Robert also has instructed at several elementary schools throughout the Valley, as well as at Connolly Middle School, Dysart High School, and Valley High School. He is someone who brings his all in every day. A saying often heard in his classroom is "just do it and thank me later."


Mr. Collins served in the United States Army from 1997-2003 and in the United States Marine Corps from 1990-1996. He received a National Defense Medal and a Meritorious Unit Citation during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He has also worked as a baseball umpire and has coached middle and high school baseball and football teams.

His favorite foods have teriyaki in them.
