Mr. Alula Berhane

Mr. Berhane is originally from California but he was raised in Phoenix, AZ. He is a first generation refugee as both of his parents were born and raised in Eritrea (East Africa).
He attended Community college and later attended Arizona State University with a degree in Family and Human Development while minoring in Sociology.
Mr. Berhane's passion is to work with and improve the lives of children. When he graduated he worked at the Child Development Lab on campus before joining Teach for America, Southern Louisiana corps. He then taught and coached in Baton Rouge, LA for 3 years.
Mr. Berhane recently moved back to the valley to be closer to family while finishing Masters in Education & Educational Studies.
